Residential Inspections

A Home Inspection is a visual report card designed to inform buyers and sellers on the homes current condition. A Home Inspection will identify defects, issues that can lead to major defects, potential safety hazards, and minor imperfections. The Home Inspection Report will also point out the positive attributes of a property. Our detailed report will be sent to you within 24 hours. This report will also include general maintenance recommendation.

One-Year Warranty Inspections

New homes typically come with a One-Year or Builder’s Warranty. This warranty covers most material and workmanship defects in your new home that could occur within the first year. TEC Property Inspections will address any warranty related concerns that can be brought to your builders attention. These concerns will save you from costly expenses you will be responsible for after the Builders Warranty

New Build Inspections

If you are building a home or buying a newly constructed house from a developer, it's a good idea to hire an inspector to monitor the house as it is being built.

Radon Testing

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that you can’t see or smell, but it's extremely dangerous and can cause lung cancer. Radon gas comes from the natural breakdown of Uranium, It is usually found in igneous rock and soil. Nearly one out of every 15 homes in the United States is estimated to have elevated Radon levels. The Environmental Protection Agency recommends a Radon Mitigation System when Radon levels are above 4 pCi/l.
